Notogrammitis pseudociliata

Family: Polypodiaceae

Notogrammitis pseudociliata has an erect to short-creeping stem (rhizome) bearing linear fronds with a distinct stalk that is winged to the base. Both frond blade and stalk are are covered in fine, pale hairs.
Found throughout New Zealand as an epiphyte.
Formerly known as Grammitis pseudocilliata.

Plant form: erect stem bearing fronds up to 20 cm

Frond appearance: similar to sterile frond

Frond stalk, midrib: stipe indistinct, sparsely hairy

Sporangium location: lower frond surface

Frond shape: narrowly elliptic

Sporangium position: in one row either side of midrib

Frond blade: undivided

Sporangia distribution: in groups (sori)

Frond surface: thin, dull

Sorus shape: elongated with hairs

Leaflets: 0
