Camptochaete arbuscula

Family: Lembophyllaceae

Camptochaete arbuscula is a robust moss with wiry stems bearing fronds with branches arranged on either side of the frond axis (pinnate branching). Leaves are papery, wrinkled when dry, concave and pale silvery-green. The leaf vein (nerve) is double and very faint. The sporophyte plants are borne on the lower side of the frond.

Widespread in New Zealand as an epiphyte and on logs in moist forest.
