Chiastocaulon conjugatum (Plagiochilion conjugatum)

Family: Plagiochilaceae

Chiastocaulon conjugatum forms loose patches of large, robust and erect plants with opposite and almost circular, yellow-brown leaves. Leaves are near vertical when dry but spreading when moist and margins have jagged teeth. Underleaves are not developed to a visible size in this genus.

Found throughout New Zealand on trees and logs in moist forest often as an epiphyte
